Edda Creative Reklam Ltd. Şti. is established in Türkiye and invoices business clients in the Netherlands without VAT. For business-to-business services, the place of supply is where the client is established, in this case the Netherlands. The VAT is therefore reverse-charged to you: the invoice states “VAT reverse-charged / btw verlegd” and you account for the VAT in your own return.
This is a general explanation, not tax advice. If your business is (partly) VAT-exempt, for example in healthcare, education or financial services, reverse-charged VAT may be a real cost for you. Always have your situation checked by your own adviser.

Because we invoice from Türkiye to a business in the Netherlands, the VAT is reverse-charged. You declare the VAT yourself and, if you are entitled to deduct it, deduct it again in the same return.
