Where Turkish and Dutch exhibitors meet
Putting the two lists side by side, a few areas stand out where companies from both countries serve the same customers with different strengths:
- Composite repair and materials: MC2 Composite, Aldis Aviation and ASES Aviation from Türkiye; KVE Composites Group and SPECTO Aerospace from the Netherlands.
- Digital maintenance and inspection: Mainblades, AIIR Innovations and EXSYN from the Netherlands; Turkish MROs are among the potential users of these technologies.
- Equipment and hangar solutions: FEZA AERO and MAKRO AERO from Türkiye; hangar investments across Europe are a natural market for these products.
- Logistics and parts management: Alfa Freight and OMS Aero Group from Türkiye; logistics companies around Schiphol from the Netherlands.
Five tips for exhibitors and visitors
- Plan meetings before the show. With only two exhibition days, there is little time for walk-in visits. List the companies you want to meet and send your meeting requests in advance.
- Put your approvals first. A European buyer’s first question is often about your EASA or FAA Part-145 approvals and quality certificates such as AS9100. Make them visible at a glance in your brochure, on your stand and on LinkedIn.
- Prepare a one-page capability summary. A short, clear page in English on what you do, which aircraft types and components you support, your turnaround times and one example case is read more often than a long catalogue.
- Take Dutch business culture into account. Dutch counterparts expect direct, concise communication and punctuality. Realistic turnaround times and transparent pricing build more trust than big promises.
- Follow up within 48 hours. Business cards lose value fast. A personal email based on your meeting notes and a LinkedIn connection are the foundation of post-show communication.
