EIF, held since 2006, marks its 20th anniversary on 5–7 November 2026 at ANFAŞ Antalya Expo Center. According to the organiser, this year’s agenda centres on energy storage, agrivoltaics and carbon markets.

With one week to go, exhibitors have a last chance to sharpen their message, materials and meeting plan, and visitors can register and map out the programme. This guide brings together the official facts, the congress agenda, the market context for international companies and a practical checklist for both.

In short: EIF 2026

  • Name: EIF 2026 Energy Transition Expo (EIF stands for Energy is Future).
  • Dates and venue: 5–7 November 2026, ANFAŞ Antalya Expo Center (Aksu, Antalya).
  • Organiser: Domino Fuarcılık. The event started in 2006 and celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026.
  • Scale (organiser’s figures): more than 150 exhibitors, around 30,000 m² of exhibition space, over 30,000 professional visitors, 32 international buyer delegations and trade delegations from 25 countries.
  • Sectors: solar, wind, energy storage, geothermal, electricity and grid, hydropower, carbon and sustainability, and digital energy.
  • Congresses: four parallel congresses – the EIF International Energy Congress, the EIF Energy Storage Congress, the EIF Carbon Congress and the Electra Expo Congress.
  • Visiting: free. The organiser says free pre-registration gives queue-free entry and priority access to the congresses; the fair is aimed at energy professionals and investors (pre-registration form).

Why Türkiye’s energy market matters

In October 2024, Türkiye’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources raised its 2035 target for installed wind and solar capacity from 83,000 MW to 120,000 MW, with around USD 80 billion of investment expected to get there (Anadolu Agency). Solar capacity alone reached 25,827 MW by the end of January 2026, roughly a fifth of the country’s total installed capacity (Anadolu Agency).

For international companies, that makes Türkiye a fast-growing renewable market, and a manufacturing base in its own right. The exhibitor list reflects this mix: Turkish module, cable and transformer manufacturers alongside global inverter and module brands such as GoodWe and Talesun, storage and battery specialists, leasing companies and an EBRD-backed green finance programme. The congress line-up also looks beyond Türkiye, with a speaker from Azerbaijan’s Renewable Energy Agency at the opening.

The carbon agenda is especially relevant for companies trading with the EU. The EIF Carbon Congress covers the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Türkiye’s preparations for an emissions trading system, carbon credits and green certification, all of which shape how Turkish exporters and their European buyers will do business in the coming years.

Highlights from the congress agenda

According to the official programme, the opening speeches start at 11:00. Sessions include (congress programme):

  • on-site generation and storage licensing (YÜDEL) and the future of unlicensed investments,
  • storage investments from an investor’s perspective and end-to-end storage solutions,
  • the new-generation electricity market: storage, aggregation and energy trading,
  • domestic solar cell manufacturing and global competition,
  • from biogas to biomethane,
  • artificial intelligence in energy,
  • Türkiye’s new Climate Law and its impact on business.

According to the official website, the EIF Carbon Congress will also cover CBAM, carbon markets, green certification and corporate carbon management.

A final-week checklist for exhibitors

  • One-sentence message: an investor or EPC manager walking past your stand should understand within seconds what you offer and why it is different. Use the same sentence on your stand graphics, brochure and LinkedIn announcement.
  • Translate specs into decisions: efficiency, capacity and certificates matter, but investors look first at payback, reliability, service and financing. Make those answers visible at a glance.
  • Book meetings now: buyer delegations and speakers get busy during the fair. Contact the companies and institutions you want to meet this week, with your stand number and available time slots.
  • Announce your stand: share your hall and stand number on LinkedIn and in your email signature. The current exhibitor list and floor plan are on the official website (exhibitors, floor plan).
  • Plan for languages: much of the conversation will be in Turkish. If your team does not speak it, bring a short Turkish summary of your offer and, ideally, a Turkish-speaking colleague or partner on the stand.
  • Keep materials light: a short product sheet and an up-to-date digital presentation behind a QR code often work better than thick catalogues. Check that the QR page works on mobile.
  • Brief your team: agree who explains what and where meeting notes go. A simple lead form makes follow-up much easier.

A short plan for visitors

  • Pre-register: free pre-registration saves time at the entrance and gives priority access to the congresses.
  • Mark the programme: four congresses run in parallel, so choose your sessions in advance; storage and carbon sessions are likely to be busy.
  • List your target stands: exhibitors are spread over three halls. List the companies you want to see by hall and stand number and plan your route.

After the fair: the 48-hour rule

The return on a fair shows in the follow-up. Organise your notes in the same week, send thank-you messages and follow-up proposals within 48 hours, and share content from the fair within a few weeks. To weigh whether a fair really adds value for your brand, read “Are trade fairs still worth it?”.
